What a wild time!

Sup everyone!

I know it's been a little bit, and sorry for that, but I am repenting and trying to become better so here I am. These last few weeks were really fun, my companion and I get along super well and make the most of things. But I have a few things to talk about so strap in.

First of, I just wanna say biking is the best! I honestly don't know what it is but being on a bike as a missionary is the absolute best thing ever for some reason. You get honked at and yelled at and you never really know whether it's good or bad or not, and it's awesome! I honestly would not mind staying in a bike area my whole mission, it's a jam. It also makes talking to people easier, my favorite part is when we pass people who have dogs, because that means I get to stop and talk to them and pet their dog, and it is literally the greatest thing in the world. Dogs are so awesome, because they don't reject you, or give you weird looks, or secretly judge you, they just love you and you get to love them.

Speaking of dogs, we have these people we are teaching and they have this super cute dog, but he is crazy, and when i mean crazy I mean crazy. There was one time we were having a lesson and the dog just jumps on top of the table and barking out the window, and you think that's not really that weird, but he proceeded to do that another 5 times during the lesson. So needless to say he keeps lessons interesting to say the least.

We have been biking a ton, and it has been sick! It hasn't been all that hot outside recently these last few weeks, the hottest it has been is only like 107° and that's not bad at all. So needless to say my legs have been getting huge, I kinda wish I was making this up but my legs have gotten to the point where I have so much muscle that it looks like I have two knee caps, which sounds weird but I promise you that it's true.

We also have been attending Mission Prep classes for people who want to go on missions in the future, and it is... interesting to say the least. Most of the kids in there, they are trying really hard but it is super funny to see them try to make roleplaying look normal. Like I've been a missionary for 9 months now, so I have a decent grasp on what I'm supposed to be doing, and roleplaying scenarios is just awkward, and you need to kinda just embrace it. But they have never done it before, and it just makes me feel a lot better about how far I have come, and it's funny to see them try to make it normal and natural, but there is nothing normal or natural about pretending to act out a scenario. But I'm proud of how far I've come, because I remember being in their shoes and I'm glad I cab sit here and laugh about how weird and awkward I was.

But another cool thing that happened is we started teaching this one guy and he is super cool, but he drinks and smokes all the time. And he told us that he said he probably isn't going to give that stuff up, but we started talking about the Plan of Salvation and stuff and he enjoyed that stuff. But the really cool part is the next day we went of and talked some more and afterwards he said the closing prayer and during that prayer he asked God for help to quit drinking and it was super cool to see the power that the Atonement of Jesus Christ can have in someone's life, even that quickly. It has really been a huge testimony to me that the Gospel of Jesus Christ truly is for everyone.

But that is about it for me, I hope you all have a stupendous week. And as always stay safe out there. ✌
