Knee problems

Heyo!

Sorry I stink at this so much, but here we go. This was a pretty good week, got to go to the temple, started teaching some pretty sweet people and have more knee problems, but hey what else is new? 🤷‍♂️

So this week started off well last P-day we were playing some basketball which is fun as always. But as I was dribbling another missionary's knee went straight into my thigh and it hurt like heck! I then wobbled around for the next few days and my knee decided to just give up and is just having all the same problems I did before the Mish. But I'm hanging out not too bad, can still do Missionary work though so that's fun.

It had been an entire year since I had been to the temple and I got to go this last Saturday again and it was amazing! The temple was awesome, I got to go with my companion and roommates and it was super fun to see the inside of the Phoenix temple for the first time.

But our area has been picking up, we have had a few more people become interested and it has been super cool seeing the Lord use even a crippled me to help others come closer to Christ.

But this week was transfer week, hence the weird email day, but I found out I am staying in Surprise, which will now make 9 whole months of my mission in two different parts of Surprise, and I am staying with Elder Thomas again, which will be my first two transfer companion since I was first trained. 

The other missionaries in my apartment are awesome and it has been super fun being with them. We have done everything from praying for Pokémon cards, to making ties together. And I am sad to see it end but usually that just means the Lord has bigger plans ahead!

How's it hanging? Hope you all have been well because I have been doing pretty great myself! But here is this week hope you all enjoy 😄👍

So first off we started with some sweet visits, we have absolutely amazing members and it is great. They are way too kind to us and it is awesome that they treat us so well, they are always willing to give us water and stuff and I am so grateful for amazing people like them. 

This week we also helped out in a talent show and it was actually super fun. My companion Elder Thomas played the guitar and he can shred it! It was way sick almost sicker than me when I have COVID! But it was sweet, we had some authentic Mexican tacos that night which was super good. Their food is actually the bomb.com

Me and Elder Thomas though have been making our matching ties and they are coming along pretty nicely, I am excited for the outcome, hopefully it will be as good as I am hoping for. But either way they are gonna be powerful.

We also had pizza like 5 times this week, in case you were wondering 😉, and idk why but it is literally the best. I honestly could eat pizza everyday of my life if I wanted to, but that's that.

But it has honestly been a blast and a half with Elder Thomas, he grew up very different from me and it has been cool to be his companion. He lived in Utah his whole life, while I could stay in one place, he was homeschooling as well, and I was very much not, and he is a punk rock junky, whilst I am very much a pop rap kinda guy. But I am so glad for all the amazing experiences that I have had, and am super grateful that I still have13 more months to do it.
