Car rides 🚗 and crazy people

Hey pretty people!

I hope you all have had absolutely amazing weeks, I have been just trying to keep my sanity for the time being but it has been a great week!

I got thrown into a trio for 3 weeks and it has been crazy, I went from covering two congregations of people to now covering FOUR! And I have barely had enough time to think. But I have loved just about every minute of it, my companions are super fun so that helps a lot as well.

We also got a CAR! So for the first time in about 8 months I have not had to bike everywhere I want to go and the great thing is I get to drive! The first few days were definitely rough, because after not driving for 8 months, it felt like I had to relearn how to drive again and it was... interesting to say the least. At least nobody was hurt in the process.

But since we are now covering a whole lot more people I have been able to meet so many different people and it has been AWESOME! Meeting new people is like the best thing ever! It has been really cool, because I get to hear everyone's "story" I guess is the best way to put it. I get to hear everyone's conversion story and their testimonies about Christ and how He has blessed their lives. And it has been an absolute blast!

We have also met some very interesting people to say the least 😅 One of the areas that we cover is called Sun City West and it is a retirement community where you have to be 55+ to live there, and so there are some crazy old people there and their are just super funny. Most of them have some crazy stories, but for some reason the way they tell them is the funniest thing ever. They either talk to you about 1 of 3 things, war, their grandkids, or golf. I wish I was kidding when I say that but it is the greatest thing ever, the best part is that they are super nice, but they don't really care what other people think about them at this point so they share some interesting details in their stories, and all we can really do is like smoke* and nod and hope for the best. (*he meant SMILE not smoke)

But that's about it from me this week, I hope you all have been doing amazing. And I hope you have a fantastic rest of your week, and as always Stay safe out there!

It rained in Arizona 😱☔

Hey y'all

Sorry I forgot to email last week, I had a wack P-day last week and had no time to do absolutely anything. These last two weeks have been super busy and super fun, but unfortunately a lot of it has been some really boring stuff. We had our zone conference and it was cool, but it was a suuuuuuuper long meeting. We also started teaching a pastor who is super cool and fun to talk to.

When we had our zone conference meeting, it was super long, but uplifting. But I got to see one of my old companions Elder Wright there and it was super awesome to see him there, he also let me know he might be going back to Africa here soon, which is way exciting.

Also there is an Elder in my district that is leaving to go to Colombia here soon. Which is way cool for him, but too bad for us because that means we will lose him, but shout out to my boi Elder Sandawg, he is super fun and we are sad to see him leave.

But this last week was super cool, we got some doors slammed in our faces, saw a toooooon of different dogs, which was awesome, and also had some really good conversations with some people, in particular the pastor we met named Eddie. He is way cool, he owns this maaaaasssive smoker and has a barbecue stand that he sells his stuff at. But we talked with him and found out he used to be a pastor for like 14 years, but we talked with him about the Book of Mormon and why it's important and he has been reading and said he loves it, which is awesome!

We also went and walked around this town called Wickenburg, AZ. It is known as the town in the center of the middle of nowhere, and it is right. You drive 5 minutes in any direction out of the town and there is nothing but desert. But it was super cool to walk around and get some cool souvenirs and I also got this sick Arizona cactus shirt too.

We also had a monsoon here for the first time of the year. It was crazy, me and Elder Sandall were on exchanges so we were co pensions for the day, and we went into our dinner appointment, and it was super clear outside, like no clouds, and then half way through our dinner we got these alerts on our phones saying flash flood warning, and dust storm alert, and it was sketchy, we were told not to travel or go anywhere, but of course we decided to anyways, and got absolutely soaked, and it was freaking awesome! We biked home and got drenched, and it felt like it was raining bullets because of how hard it was raining, but hey, at least it's a good story right?🤷‍♂️

Well that's about it from me, I hope you all are doing fantastic as ever. And as always stay safe out there! ✌
