Bike problems for daaaaaaays πŸ‘Ž

Sup my people!

Hope you all have had a terrific week, mine has been pretty chill for the most part ngl. I am 19 years old now which is fun but yeah.

This week was wack, we had so many visits it wasn't even funny, and we have been knocking doors and whatnot and it is weird. I don't know about you but how do you explain to someone why you are knocking on their door without it being awkward. It's been great, we have gotten doors slammed in our face, the funniest looks you have ever seen, along with meeting some of the nicest people in my entire life. Mission life can be awesome to say the least.

My companion though has had every bike problem ever it seems. He popped two tires, in two days, on two different bikes. One of the wheels in one of the tires is almost falling off, and it is just wild how many problems you can have in a bike. The craziest part is that we had taken his bike into the shop the week before.

I also did exchanges as well, so I got to take a break from biking finally and it was a glorious day lemme tell ya. I just chilled in the car the whole time and just vied

But now I'm old, I'm a whole 19 years old, and not ready for it. Getting older I can already tell is not very fun. Because when you're older then you get more responsibilities, and have to do more things and its wack to say the least, but at least I know I'll be wiser because that's a requirement when you get older... right?

Being in Arizona has been quite the adventure, I have seen all sorts of things, met all sorts of people, but what has really changed me the most has been my conversion to the gospel. Life has been pretty crazy and since I'm in Arizona I am not able to be apart of a lot of it, but what has gotten me through it all is to know that my Father in Heaven will take care of things, and that my Savior knows what I'm going through and can help me through it. I would encourage you all to see what help turning to the Savior can bring you.

That's about it for me though. Hope you all have a fantabulous rest of your week, and I hope you all stay safe out there.

What in the world is going on?

Sup my beautiful people,

Hope you all have been doing fantastic, I have been doing pretty swell myself thanks for asking. This week was a pretty wild one, we did over 20+ hours of service, along with finding 4 new people to teach about the gospel, it has been insane.

To start off, this week was pretty confusing, we had service just about every day so we were scrambling all week to make sure we had our schedules figured out. We have just gotten permission now to go knock on people's doors and talk to people on the street, which is great because we haven't been able to do that before. We have talked to so many people and been rejected by more than I can count and it has been awesome. I love meeting new people and talking with them, so this has been a good last week or so.

We had Zone Conference this week, which basically means we have a ton of meetings 🀒 but it was really awesome because I was able to see one of my old companions Elder Wright there, who I hadn't seen in like 3 months. It was super awesome being able to meet and talk with a bunch of missionaries, and we have finally gotten permission to play sports with other missionaries too. So that means I'll be ballin up a ton pretty soon here, so basically I'll be a pro basketball if you know what I mean😏

This week we also went and helped these people pour out some concrete in their backyard. We went through an entire pallet of concrete and it was "fun" to say the least. I was the designated pourer so I dumped all of the concrete into the mixer, and it was wild. Every time I would pour it in a huge cloud of concrete dust would come and blow my face off, so I was absolutely covered by the end. Also I'm pretty sure my name tag fell off while I was pouring the concrete because after we were all done I looked down at my chest and didn't have a name tag and it was nowhere to be found, so I'm assuming it fell into the concrete so yea, there that.

Well that's about it from me, I hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week. Thank you everyone for all your support, it really means a lot, and as always stay safe out there.

The Joy's of Biking in 100° Weather

Sup my beautiful people!

I hope you all had a fantastic Mother's Day weekend. My was pretty chill, ya know as usual πŸ˜‰ Me and my new companion Elder Moore have been having some fun down here to say the least, and the weather only makes it that much better.

So this week I got a new companion and so a lot of this week had been logistical stuff with introducing my companion to the area and showing them what it's like. But it's looking like this transfer should be a good one.

My companion is from California, and he had been out for almost a year, so I am still the Junior companion since I've been out less than he has. He was originally called to go to Honduras but was reassigned because of COVID, so sometimes he starts speaking in Spanish and then I just get all confused, but that's ok.

We have been doing quite a bit of biking, and it has been pretty fun ngl. The weather has consistently been at least 100° every day this week, and it has been "fun" to say the least. But it's good for me right? I'll be in the best shape of my life both physically and spiritually, what more can I ask for.

We have been doing a lot of service this last week though, and it has been fun. I'm pretty sure I could come back from my mission and be a professional contractor with all the different mini projects I have been doing.

But that's about it from me, I hope you all are doing fantastic as ever. I hope you all have a wonderful week, and stay safe out there.

Whoops 😬

Hey yall,

Sorry about last week it was pretty crazy so I wasn't able to write and email, and now we have Tuesday P-day so you're still probably confused but that's ok. This week is transfers again and it is unreal how fast this transfer has gone. I found out I am getting a new companion Elder Moore, and am super excited to see what this next transfer has in store.

The temperature down here has consistently been 95+ and it is ridiculous, every time I go outside I feel like I am stepping into an oven. What makes it more fun is the fact that we bike everywhere and get drenched in sweat. A lot of our members are like did you bike really hard to get here, and were just like nope it it just that hot.

These last two weeks have been pretty fun, we have been visiting a lot of people and it has been super fun. There is one member of our Ward that has this unreal collection of stuff in his house. He has every star wars helmet you can imagine, a life size replica of an alien from Alien vs. Predator, he has things from Marvel, to Bacl to the Future, you name it. It was funny because we were talking with him and he told us that this was only 1/3 of the collection that he used to have. I can only imagine the amount of stuff he must've had before hand.

Arizona I have come to fund out doesn't really care about COVID, our Bishop let us know that only 27 out of the 240 people that came to church last week wore masks, and me and my companion were two of them. And as missionaries I have a feeling that probably won't change any time soon but it's  good, we'll be blessed for it right?

But that's about it from me, thank you all so much for your support, it has really meant the world to me. I hope you all have a wonderful week, and stay safe out there.
