New Area, New Me Baby!!!!!!!!

What is cooking my quote good looking people?

I hope you all have had a fantastic day, because I sure am. As I'm sure you can assume from the title, I have finally been transferred out of my first area. I am now in Surprise Arizona, serving in not one but two wards!!! Unfortunately I am still on bike though, so as of now I have not driven a car in over 5 months, which is crazy.

My new area is pretty awesome. I am only about 30 min west by car from my old area, but it is super nice out here. My two wards are Sierra MontaΓ±a, and Willow Canyon, and they are awesome. I have only been here for a week and I have loved the people I have met, and am super excited to keep meeting new people.

I am still on a bike though, which made me pretty sad, but hey at least I'll be in shape right? The sad thing is that it is starting to heat up in Arizona and I am not too excited to be on bike during the summer.

My new companion, Elder Salazar, he is super nice and a pretty chill guy. He has been out for 18 months, so he has been out for TRIPLE what I have been out. So needless to say I feel very small in this companionship.

I hope you all have been doing well. It has been great to hear from some of you, I am grateful for all of your support. Keep being awesome y'all, and stay safe out there. Peace ✌

Finally mooooooving on!!!!!

What is happening everyone?

Hope you all have been doing absolutely supercalifragilisticexpealidociously awesome this week. I have had a pretty good week, sorry for any confusion on my emails this week we had transfers so our P-day was moved to Tuesday. But this week was pretty fun, I found out I was being transferred to Buckeye Arizona, so hopefully I will be getting a car, and I will be getting a new companion named Elder Salazar so let's hope for the best.

This week was a pretty fun one, but not much happened at the same time. It was me and Elder Wrights last week, so we had some fun doing things I probably shouldn't tell you. But it was fun nonetheless. To start off we went on exchanges again and they were super fun, I was with Elder Newbold who is one of my favorite missionaries I have ever met. We had a fun day doing service and it was awesome to teach with him because we already connected so well beforehand. Also another funny thing is that my area is like the only biking area so when other missionaries come to my area, I like to break them into the biking life, and it is fun lemme tell ya. I completely dust them since I've been on bike for like 5 months.

This week we had our food paid for by none other than the man himself Joseph Smith. Me and my roommates went to a restaurant named Rubio's, which is really good btw. But someone walked up to us and said that he'd like to pay for our food. So at first we said no but he insisted, and we started talking to him and he told us his name was Joseph Smith, and in my head I was like, NO WAY!!!!! So basically I met a celebrity, its whatever 😜

Had my last District Council with my awesome district, and will now be moving on to an entirely different zone of missionaries so I am pretty excited. I have loved serving in Peoria, and am super excited to see what is to come next.

Thank you all so much for the love and support it has really helped a lot. I love you all and have loved hearing from you. I hope you are all well, and stay safe out there.

March Madness... Literally

Hello everyone,

Hope you have had a fantabulous week, I have had some interesting times that's for sure. This week I have done over 30 hours of service, biked 100+ miles, and called over 50 people who just don't seem to know how to answer a phone.

To start off, we did a ton of service, we did everything from moving barn walls, to painting doorways, to lifting boxes, to mowing lawns. One service in particular was really fun, there was this lady who owns a ranch and she asked us to come over and help her. So we went over there and moved about a 10 foot high pile of mesquite brush onto a trailer. Which was pretty fun because we were taking to branches and just javelin throwing them onto the trailer, needless to say I got pretty good at it. She also had us move these barn walls that were I kid you not like 600 lbs. each. Luckily there were 6 of us there so we moved it pretty easily. But on the ranch she had just about every animal you could think of. She had dogs, turkeys, guinea hens, horses, donkeys, and cows. It smelled horrible, but it was still fun.

We had some good lessons this week but the unfortunate part was that it seemed almost every lesson was from one side of our area to the complete opposite side. It was fun to bike, but down here it is starting to warm up so it makes biking in dress pants a little uncomfortable. But on the plus side my legs are getting huge, so... it's worth it.

We had what's called the taco challenge this week. A member of our ward holds a competition for the missionaries to see who can eat the most tacos. So me and my companion of course had to try it out. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours, just eating tacos. I ate 14 tacos, which I was pretty proud of, but my companion ate 20 of them so... I've got some work to do.

We went on some more exchanges this week which was pretty fun, so I got to see how some other missionaries work. And it was great because most of them came to my area, so that means they have to bike. Let's just say it was really funny watching them try to keep up with me since I've been on a bike my whole mission.

But that's about it for this week. I love hearing from you all. Sorry if I haven't gotten back to you, life has been a little hectic, but I'm working on it. Stay safe out there.

Well that happened...

Sup y'all,

What is cracka lackin' my dudes? I hope you are all doing pretty swell. This week was pretty fun, I went on exchanges for the first time, ran into some crazy dude named Albert, and almost had a heart attack, don't worry I'll explain.

Well to start off I had an exchange with another Elder in my district, his name was Elder Stuart, he's a homie. We were companions for a whole 24 hours and man it was pretty fun. We had service like all day and he is pretty funny. But we also decided to drop off more cookies, because why not? But as we were biking some guy waved at us and said "Hey wanna come talk to me about Joseph Smith?" So we were like sure. So we walked over and started talking and he goes "So what's the message of the day?" So we just started talking about Jesus Christ, as we do. And midway through my sentence he stops me and says "Woah, wait can we say a prayer?" So I proceeded to say the prayer, and halfway through my prayer h just stops me and says, "Wait that's not my name". So I said sorry, and restarted the prayer, and halfway through that he looks over at Elder Stuart and says "Close your eyes", in whatever weird accent he had, and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. So we gave him a Book of Mormon and left. So that was Albert...

Another day this week, we were biking home and stopped at the church building that our roommates usually work at, because they have a car. So we set up our bikes on the back of our roommates car and headed inside. So we were late coming back out to the car to go home, and we walk outside and our bikes are gone. I was terrified, I was like I spent $500 on that bike for it to get stolen in like 10 min. I asked our roommates if they saw anyone take them or if they messed with them and of course they said no. So we got in the car to drive back to our apartment, and our roommates pull around the corner right to where they had hid our bikes, I almost died. I couldn't believe they had kept such a straight face and told us that they didn't touch them, it was pretty funny though.

But that's about it for this week. I hope you are al safe and well. I have loved hearing from you all, keep it up 😜 I love you all, stay safe out there
